We can help folks get basic transportation in the form of a bicycle. We give the bicycle as a long term or permenat lease, asking only that if they get another bike, or find they no longer need a bike that they return it to HUBS Coop.

PROGRAM PURPOSE NOW and since inception: provide short-term transportation solutions (free rides) for carefully selected, qualified individuals, poised to MOVE FORWARD if the barrier of transportation to work is removed. Also 5 round trips a year available for medical purposes or up to 5 rides for employment or pre-employment needs by calling 211. Designed to impact the lives of individuals by addressing a key barrier to success – transportation (through an exclusive partnership United Way has with a commercial ride-sharing company, LYFT) AND FILL STRATEGIC GAPS where public transportation and other resources are not available in this fast growing community. IF INDIVIDUALS CAN RIDE PUBLIC TRANSIT, THEY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE NOTE: Currently only clients working actively with one of our MOU Collaborators is able to apply under the application.
